-DJ put back on the engineering hat again to travel with Producer Bob Baldwin to record musicians in Ipanema Beach, Brazil. This music became the backdrop to “Brazil Chill”, which was released in 2004 and featured Leo Gandelman (Sax) as well as the Brazil super-group Azimuth. “The experience was invaluable to me as an American, putting things in perspective.”, says DJ.“The humility that these people have was awe-inspiring.”

Worked with vocalist Phil Perry on “Too Late” Vibraphonist Roy Ayers, and Baritone crooner Will Downing on “Everybody loves the Sunshine”. Working with Ayers and Downing was a great highlight of his career, especially on the classic Roy Ayers tune.
